Please share this page in your network or among your friends to help us provide more opportunities for youth and young artists to develop their skills.  Enrolling in the Academy requires a commitment on the part of each students to attend classes 80% of the times in order to remain enrolled.  We work towards 5 outcomes, all of which take time and dedication.  Our Master Artists work with young artists to develop their skills as artists.  We support them in their journeys towards employability or entrepreneurship by developing portfolios, resumes, and more.  We also host Creative Economy Intern Fairs, have fellowships and internships, and host an alternative spring break focused on the Business of Art.  We have College Material Coaches that meet with Apprentice Students every other week to guide them in their pursuit of a post secondary education in trade school, art school, community college or a four year university.  We invite Master Artists to classes as guest speakers and instructors to welcome each of our Apprentice students into the creative community of hip-hop artists.  Finally, we believe that every apprentice student must be the driving force behind what is possible for their life.  To that end we believe that every Apprentice, through the creative process of art making also begin the process of Mastering themselves and their futures.  We call that Self Mastery.  Join our community, and enroll today in the Words Beats & Life Academy.
