If I am a property owner, how can I have my property considered for a mural location?

Please send an email to muralsdc@wblinc.org and make your subject “My Property”

If I am a youth or parent of a youth, how can I have my child enrolled in the apprentice program?

Please send an email to enroll@wblinc.org with the subject “Fine Lines Apprentice Program”

Do I need to own my property to get a mural?

You need the permission of the property owner to commission a mural.

Does my wall have to have vandalism on it to be considered?

Vandalism makes it a stronger candidate for consideration, but the location of the wall and its potential to be a primary target for future vandalism are also considered.

If I want to commission a mural and I have the funds to do it, who should I contact?

Please send your email to mazi@wblinc.org with a photo and measurement of your property.  You should also include your contact information and the best times to reach you.

If I have an above average size wall or a residential property, who should I contact about my wall being considered for a mural?

Please send your email to mazi@wblinc.org with a photo and measurement of your property.  Include your contact information and the best times to reach you.

Is there a cost associated with the bike tours?

The Capital City Bike Tour is absolutely free.  We do, however, ask at the end of the tour that you consider making a donation to support mural creation on a wall that has already been identified along with the proposed lead Master Artist.

Where does the tour go?

Currently the tour travels through upper Northwest DC, however we are developing more rides and routes that travel greater distances and visit murals in Southeast and Northeast.

Do you have to have your own bike for the tour?

You do not have to have your own bike but we don’t provide a bike for the tour.  Most people without a bike of their own use Capital Bike Share.

Can children attend the tour?

Children can be part of the tour with an adult chaperone.

Can I schedule a private tour for my college, university, or company?

Private tours can be arranged for a modest fee.  For questions email mazi@wblinc.org and make your subject “private tour.”

Are there other kinds of transportation for this tour like vans or buses?

We don’t provide transportation, so you would be required to make those arrangements and pay for our tour guide for the ride.
