Students innovate and excel with our free after-school art classes for youth ages 12 to 18, young adults 18 to 22, and our brand new elementary classes for students in 3rd through 5th grade (ages 8 to 11). From creative skills to college prep, we help your child craft a better future, through hip-hop!

Our academy is the premier destination for innovative, creative, and inspiring after-school education. We provide students with the opportunity to excel in their education and pursue their passions with the help of our principal artists and industry leaders. Our culturally relevant curriculum engages students through hip-hop arts and history, building skills across multiple disciplines.

ACADEMY PROGRAMMING HOURS

After-School In-Person Classes

Elementary (grades 3-5):
Mondays and Tuesdays — 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Middle School to College (ages 12 to 22):
Wednesdays — 3:30pm to 7:00pm
Thursdays — 4:50pm to 7:00pm

Open Lab Fridays — 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Early arrival and late dismissal can be arranged on a case-by-case basis — please contact donney@wblinc.org

After-School Virtual Class

Middle school through college-age youth
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays — 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Summer Academy

Washington, D.C. and Virtual
Elementary to college-age youth
Monday through Friday
