Bike Tour | Airbnb Guided Tour

Are you looking for a fun excursion in D.C.? Are you a lover of all things Hip-Hop culture? Here at Words Beats and Life, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Explore the vibrant streets of D.C. in an Airbnb social impact experience that unearths D.C.'s best street art and its untold story.

For individuals or small groups, we offer a tour of murals throughout historical neighborhoods of the District of Columbia. These tours will be a multi-sensory exposure to Columbia Heights, Pleasant Plains, U Street and Adams Morgan.

For the first two guests to RSVP, we will also provide you with a three wheel bike. For everyone else, we will provide a Bike through the DC Bike share program. At an easy pace, you'll explore scenes and art that is otherwise off the beaten path, and that your typical tourist opportunity ignores. Learn about these important diverse neighborhoods, the artists that frequent them, and the history that inspires all.

About Your Host, Mazi:

I am the founding Executive Director of this 20-year-old hip-hop nonprofit. We have offered classes to thousands of children and hundreds of adults. We would love for you to visit our headquarters and have a one-of-a-kind experience making art in the Nation's capital.

Your Impact:

By booking this experience, you will be directly supporting Words Beats and Life as we near our 20th year of operation. Words Beats and Life is a hip-hop non-profit that teaches and presents the core elements of hip-hop. For most of its history, it has taught young people, offering classes in graffiti, street art, and photography.

100% of what you pay goes directly to the non-profit organization. Airbnb isn’t charging any fees for these experiences. Learn more about the program. Your purchase will go directly to investing in the next generation of artists in D.C. and helps keep our arts programming free for D.C. youth.

Hear From Our Patrons:

“A really neat experience that ties local culture in with a tour of a cool part of D.C. I'd recommend this to bikers who are comfortable contending with vehicular traffic and want to explore the Adams Morgan/Columbia Heights neighborhoods through a unique lens. Mazi was flexible, approachable and clearly knows the area well!”

— Brent

“This was an excellent way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of sight seeing. The instructors were fun, very passionate about their craft and Maxi kept things moving along in a fun way to ensure we got to get the full experience. I would highly recommend it for both visitors and locals.”

— Aimee
