Who Let the Dogs Out | Airbnb Guided Walking Tour

Are you looking for a fun excursion in D.C.? Are you a lover of all things Hip-Hop culture? Here at Words Beats and Life, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Explore the vibrant streets of D.C. in an Airbnb social impact experience that unearths D.C.'s best street art and its untold story.

Grab your furry friend, and spend the afternoon with us on a guided walking tour through some of D.C.’s most diverse neighborhoods. On this tour, uncover the hidden beauty of the Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, U Street, or Georgia Avenue neighborhoods. You will learn all about the murals, architecture, and street art that characterize the neighborhood.

This tour will allow D.C. residents and visitors alike to learn the stories behind public art hidden around corners in alleyways, overlooked rooftops, and major roadways. There is so much beauty in these three communities that goes unnoticed.

What to Expect:

This walking tour, specifically designed for you and your pooch, is roughly two and a half hours long. Our tours are unique and customizable. Guests are encouraged to share which neighborhood they want to park in so we can customize the route to end near your car. Guests can choose between the Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, U Street, and Georgia Avenue neighborhoods.

We provide water for both you and your dog. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothes, and bring a dog bowl.

Guests ages five and up can attend, up to 10 guests total. Parents can bring children under two years of age.

All participants must wear a protective face covering and practice social distancing.

About Your Host, Mazi:

I am the founding Executive Director of this 20-year-old hip-hop nonprofit. We have offered classes to thousands of children and hundreds of adults. We would love for you to visit our headquarters and have a one-of-a-kind experience making art in the Nation's capital.

Your Impact:

By booking this experience, you will be directly supporting Words Beats and Life as we near our 20th year of operation. Words Beats and Life is a hip-hop non-profit that teaches and presents the core elements of hip-hop. For most of its history, it has taught young people, offering classes in graffiti, street art, and photography.

100% of what you pay goes directly to the non-profit organization. Airbnb isn’t charging any fees for these experiences. Learn more about the program. Your purchase will go directly to investing in the next generation of artists in D.C. and helps keep our arts programming free for D.C. youth.
